More than $298,000 in Maine Community Foundation (MaineCF) grants will help strengthen nonprofit organizations and projects across the state.
In Spring 2023, Elmina B. Sewall Foundation, Maine Association of Nonprofits, Maine Initiatives, and Maine Philanthropy Center conducted a pilot survey of nonprofits and funders to better understand what organizations have learned so far about the benefits and challenges of sharing workspace, as well as preferences and priorities when assessing opportunities.
The fund supports organizations focused on the environment and conservation, early childhood and youth programming, and arts and culture.
The One Hive Foundation is a private foundation that supports nonprofit research and community partners to promote pollinator health and ecologically responsible agriculture.
Adult learners returning to school may be eligible for scholarships from the Maine Community Foundation (MaineCF).
