From Ace to Z: Equity Considerations in the ACE Act is part of a special Independent Sector convening series, ACE-ing Sector Understanding of Philanthropy Reform and the ACE Act.

Save this date and participate in this series conversation with social sector leaders about key questions around philanthropy reform and recent proposals in the Accelerating Charitable Efforts (ACE) Act of 2021. This series is designed to better understand existing data and dialogue around these issues and then hear from you and other leaders about how the sector should be approaching these policies. We hope you can join us for these critical conversations because we need to hear perspectives of all types of nonprofits across the sector.

In From Ace to Z, our second convening which will be held at the Upswell Summit, we’ll discuss how the sector has been debating the need to improve philanthropy. The exponential growth of donor-advised funds and the recent introduction of reform legislation has made this debate even more relevant in 2021. Join us for a lively discussion about the potential need for philanthropy reform and how equity factors into many of the policy proposals at the center of the debate. Your input during this session will inform Independent Sector’s policy positions on these issues.
