Cross Cultural Community Services, in partnership with over ten local and state government and social service agencies, will host the 4th Annual Black History Month Community Wellness Fair on Thursday, February 29th & Friday, March 1st, 2024 in Portland and Lewiston.

This event was established in partnership with the State of Maine’s Office of Behavioral Health StrengthenME Covid-19 Response Program and grantees. As we begin to live with the forever altered landscape of the pandemic, we know there is great value in keeping the Wellness Fair going, and we would like to invite you to join us as an event sponsor.

This year's theme is Trauma, Grief, Hope and Joy. We’re approaching this year’s event through the lens of the social determinants of health in the field of mental healthcare. Our event will include panel discussions from field experts on topics including Mental Health & Race, Hope & Joy, Trauma & Grief, Substance Use, Education, and Reproductive Health. In addition to panels, there is a resource fair component where health related materials and supports will be available.
