The Maine Philanthropy Center has evolved from its start as the Maine Grants Information Center (MGIC), which was established in 1995 through a cooperative arrangement between the University of Southern Maine and the Maine Community Foundation.
The Maine Oral Health Funders (MOHF), an affinity group of funders including PCOH that first convened over 15 years ago, have been developing an initiative to promote strategic systemic changes focused on improved oral health care access and quality for all people in Maine.
Maine Philanthropy Center's mission is to provide opportunity, leadership, and support to advance the effectiveness of philanthropy in Maine and its ability to make a meaningful difference.
