As part of the Maine Philanthropy Center’s commitment to promote philanthropy and increase its impact in Maine, we have collected and analyzed the most recent data available to provide a snapshot of giving in Maine.
A burgeoning field of scholarship suggests that unequal racial, gender, and other outcomes may be partially explained by the implicit, or unconscious, bias held by many of us, particularly key decision-makers, such as doctors, teachers, judges, and philanthropists.
