Grants from the Maine Community Foundation’s (MaineCF) PF Fund for the Baldwin Area are available for nonprofit organizations and projects that benefit the community.
In 2022, a total of $51,575 was awarded to four area organizations, including:
- Breakwater Learning, to provide enriching summer camp experiences for area youth
- First Congregational Church of East Baldwin, to replace two propane heaters in its food pantry distribution annex
- Francis Small Heritage Trust, to purchase a cabin and develop a center for educational and recreational programs with an environmental focus
- MSAD #55, for the Class of 2024 to travel to Quebec in March 2023 as a cultural and educational experience.
