Alexandra McArthur
A seasoned nonprofit professional, Alex McArthur (she/her/hers) is a Consultant at the Taproot Foundation, where she advises Fortune 500 companies on implementing high-impact pro bono programs. Previously, she was the National Director of Young Adult and Community Engagement with the Muscular Dystrophy Association and has managed External Affairs at LRN, a firm improving business ethics and culture change. In addition to being named a White House Champion of Change in 2014 and Ms. Wheelchair America in 2011, Alex is honored to serve as the Chair of the board for the National Disability Institute, the Chair of the North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities, and a board member of VAE Raleigh. Alex lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband and sheepdog and loves a good pun.
