The Maine Project for Fine Art Conservation-Project MEAC

The Maine Project for Fine Art Conservation-Project MEAC is the only non-profit Fine Art Conservation lab/studio in Maine and is located in Portland. Project MEAC is committed to conserve and preserve art from historical societies, families, individuals and museums. We are also dedicated to the conservation and preservation of civic art that are present in our libraries, schools, city halls throughout Maine. We at Project MEAC believe that these artworks belong to a complex historical patchwork. Conserving and preserving them will help define our cultural heritage for future generations.
