New Directory features now available!

Friday, May 13, 2022

We have great news about the Directory of Maine Grantmakers!  Thanks to many of you who have provided feedback, we have made some changes to the online Directory to help you better find the information you need. You can still complete our short Directory survey to share your thoughts!

Here's a summary of what to look for next time you are logged in.

Grant deadlines

You can now use the grant deadline filter on the right sidebar to find funders with grant deadlines in a specific month.

No need to settle for just the three months of upcoming deadlines shared in the monthly member newsletter.  Now you can set your calendar for 6 or even 12 months out.

Location

Find funders that concentrate funding in certain geographic areas using the new filter on the right sidebar.

Report data issues

A new feedback form sits on the right sidebar of every organization profile in the Directory.  Did you notice a broken link, disconnected phone number, or something else that seems out of place with a certain grantmaker profile?   Easily notify us directly from the page that needs attention.

Find 990s

Use the new "public data" section link on the right sidebar of any grantmaker profile to go straight to their tax records on ProPublica's Nonprofit Explorer.

New print edition coming soon

The 13th Edition Directory of Maine Grantmakers print edition is currently in development and is expected to be ready to ship in early summer 2022.  Stay tuned for more information.

About the Directory

The Directory of Maine Grantmakers is a valuable resource for grantseekers across Maine and contains over 400 grantmaker profiles.  Print editions of the Directory are released every two years.  MPC members receive unrestricted access to the online version and discounted pricing on print editions.

65% of all funders listed in the Directory do not have a website, making our Directory the best place to find their information.
