Maine Philanthropy Center is proud to host this new program designed for a rising generation of philanthropists who seek to prioritize impact, align their giving with their values, and influence change in their communities.

This program has been developed, and will be facilitated, by Randi Hogan, CAP®, President of Hogan Philanthropy Consulting, LLC.

PURPOSE

To inspire and equip the rising generation to become more effective and purposefully engaged philanthropic leaders.            

WHO

For ​​21-42 year olds, at different stages of their giving journeys, including trustees or people in leadership roles in their own family foundations, or others who are personally wrestling with the complex aspects of philanthropy and wealth distribution who are part of a grant making process. The Winter 2022 cohort is limited to 16 participants.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES   

  • Clarify the values and vision that drive personal and family decision-making and define philanthropic purpose and promise     
  • Identify ways to tap resources – time, talent, treasure, ties, and testimony – and deploy them in the community     
  • Craft a strategic framework for making a positive impact that is grounded in practices that advance justice and equity 
  • Build a peer network to share experiences and support ongoing learning

SCHEDULE and INVESTMENT *NEW DATES*

The learning journey includes a combination of four, 90-minute interactive live online group meetings and independent work with self, family, and community before and between sessions. Maine Philanthropy Center, Philanthropy Massachusetts and New Hampshire Funders Forum member pricing is $1000 and non-members are $1350.

PRESENTER

Randi Hogan, CAP®, works with individuals and families as a trusted guide, an astute listener, and discreet advisor as they navigate the journey to giving more boldly and getting meaningfully involved to create positive change in our world. Committed to excellence in her practice, she is a 21/64 Certified Advisor in multigenerational advising, facilitation, and training within family philanthropy, and has earned the designation of Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® from The American College of Financial Services.
