Part of a new series of informal brown-bag lunch conversations for funders around issues of inclusion, equity, and diversity.

Maine Community Foundation’s People of Color fund has been giving grants to help communities of color achieve greater racial equity in Maine since 2009.

Join Lelia DeAndrade, Sr. Director of Grantmaking Services, to talk about their grantmaking for racial equity and what they’ve learned over the past seven years. How have they defined their work? What’s been successful? What have they changed over the years?

And finally, learn more about what’s next for the Maine Community Foundation around racial equity.

Bring your lunch!

Please note our new location: We outgrew the Maine Community Foundation Conference Room! We'll be meeting at the State of Maine Room in Portland City Hall instead.

This event is free, but we ask that you register in advance. This event is intended for funders.
