Navigating a career in philanthropy can be challenging for a host of reasons, including, but certainly not limited to the impact of a pandemic forcing most of us to operate in a nearly 100% virtual environment. Making connections and finding opportunities to build strong relationships across the sector can be difficult. Creating a strong network can be a critical resource in developing your own leadership skills and finding your place in the region’s philanthropic space.

Please join Philanthropy Massachusetts and Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy’s Boston Chapter for a conversation with a diverse panel of sector thought leaders who will discuss how mentorship has shaped their career journeys. The group of leaders will discuss strategies to leverage your network, particularly in virtual spaces, and how they see philanthropy continuing to evolve and grow. This session will help model the networking and soft skills that can be helpful in establishing long lasting, constructive relationships that will help you design the career that you want for yourself. Whether philanthropy represents your first professional experience or you are entering the sector from a career in another field, we welcome you to join us in community as we all look to build a more equitable philanthropy.
