This event is for funders only.

Please join your funder colleagues for regular conversations and information sharing on partnering and supporting Maine's Tribal communities. This network group from Maine Philanthropy Center will connect colleagues interested in or currently investing in Indigenous communities and organizations. It will be an opportunity to share learning, advance collaboration, and build relationships.

This session we will invite Erin Switalski, Program Director at Headwaters Foundation to share their approach to trust-based philanthropy with Tribes & Indigenous-led organizations. Join us for what will be a robust and informative dialogue.

Guest Speaker

Erin Switalski

Organizer, collaborator, believer in the power of great teams to achieve the impossible together. Erin brings more than 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector, organizing and mobilizing for progressive change in Montana and nationally. She has worked in the fields of human rights, affordable housing and environmental health, with an eye toward creating just, inclusive and thriving communities for all people and the planet. Erin is thrilled to bring her skills to Headwaters, where she gets to work side-by-side with Montana’s vital non-profit organizations to collectively build a healthy and thriving Montana. Erin holds a very under-used bachelor’s degree in Spanish. In her free time, she can be found wandering the mountains of Montana with her husband and two young daughters, preferably with skis on.
