PORTLAND & ELLSWORTH—Grants to nonprofit organizations that serve disadvantaged, underserved, and/or vulnerable communities in Maine are available from the Frances Hollis Brain Foundation Fund of the Maine Community Foundation.
The Maine Health Access Foundation (MeHAF) has announced that their temporarily suspended Discretionary Grants program is accepting new applications as of September 15, 2020.
The Sadie and Harry Davis Foundation's 2021 cycle of the Children’s Health Small Grants Program is now open. The Foundation is excited to present an improved website and simplified process for the grant application.
The Frances Hollis Brain Foundation Fund at the Maine Community Foundation has awarded 33 grants totaling $170,000 to nonprofit organizations that serve disadvantaged, underserved, and/or vulnerable communities in Maine.
These projects have advanced Maine children’s health, focusing on prevention and increasing access to needed services for underserved populations.
Additional funds are available from Maine Department of Health and Human Services for COVID-19 vaccination activities that can be completed by December 31, 2021. For priority consideration, organizations must submit an online proposal by August 12, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.
