The Falmouth Historical Society

The Society is one of 144 town historical societies in Maine which, along with the flagship Maine Historical Society, preserve artifacts and documents related to Maine's history to inform present and future generations of our state's heritage. Our focus includes present day Falmouth as well as Ancient Falmouth which, prior to 1765, encompassed today's towns of Falmouth and Cape Elizabeth as well as the cities of Portland, South Portland and Westbrook.
