We often hear from students and staff alike that Trekkers is “like a family.” And that’s probably because it’s true. Joining the team at Trekkers is joining a youth mentoring organization that has spent over 25 years helping young people thrive. It’s a program that puts people first and strives to cultivate growth – and that’s true for students as well as staff.
As part of the Trekkers “family,” you would join our team’s efforts to fundraise towards a multi-year capital campaign - a pivotal moment for our nonprofit organization. This campaign includes goals to renovate our new building and secure our financial viability well into the future.
Our VISTA would be gaining valuable, in-depth experience collaborating with our Director of Development, Communications and Impact Manager, and Capital Campaign committee. Our new teammate would help us foster relationships with donors, support committee activities, assist with major fundraising, awareness-building, and celebration events, conduct grant research, writing, and reporting, help out with communication efforts, and also help maintain database entry and reporting.
This full-time position is based in Rockland, Maine with flexibility for occasional remote work.
The position starts July 19, 2021 and ends July 18, 2022.
