Safe Voices, the domestic violence resource center serving Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford counties, is seeking a collaborative and service-oriented professional to support all aspects of its philanthropy and engagement program.
About the Position
The Development Operations Coordinator, a newly created, full-time position, will be the team’s point person for all aspects of its donor management system (EveryAction) and take lead on special community engagement projects, to include Safe Voices’ annual Feed-A-Family and Adopt-A-Family programs and municipal campaigns. This person also will provide support as assigned for a team of three, including the Director of Development & Engagement. Strong candidates will be deeply committed to the success of the team and comfortable working “behind the scenes.” At the same time, they will possess the communications and customer service skills to interface successfully with donors and volunteers from all backgrounds. Strong writing skills and an ability to problem-solve and be self-directed are essential. Experience in a development office or other organized fundraising environment is required. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Working knowledge of domestic abuse, sexual exploitation and sex trafficking is desired but not required.
Salary & Benefits
Safe Voices is proud to offer a competitive salary and benefits package which includes health, dental and vision coverage, an employer-sponsored health savings account, life, accident, short term disability and long-term disability insurance coverage, 401(k) retirement savings with an employer match, and paid time-off benefits, including 13 paid holidays (to include Juneteenth and Indigenous People’s Day) and family-friendly, flexible work options (including a 4-day work week option).
