Join our fun nonprofit this summer (May - October) and help roll our adaptive trikes around Greater Portland! You’ll be driving a small Ford Transit truck, Monday through Friday plus an occasional Saturday (4 hours only). Your weekday runs from about 8 am until 5 pm (unless the weather or other issues cause us to cancel our program for all or part of the day). And we’ll pay you $75 for each half-day in which you drive.
You’ll come to our garage in South Portland in the morning and head out to a variety of sites where you’ll meet our friendly volunteers and unload our trikes. You’ll assist with record-keeping on a “ride log” sheet and help with sanitation procedures before and after each ride. Other support tasks may be on your list as well.
Take some time for lunch between sites, and then repeat for the afternoon. Drive away from that site by 4 pm, and you should be all done at the garage by 5 pm. Your days will be filled with fun, seeing our wheelers’ joy as they experience the freedom of a bike ride.
