MCHPP is seeking a full-time Donor Engagement Coordinator to assist our Development Team in implementing strategies for the ongoing cultivation of donors capable of financial gifts by phone, email, in-person meetings, and special events. Reporting to the Development Manager, this position will assist with a wide range of donor-facing projects designed to help bolster our brand in the broader nonprofit sector and contribute to the agency’s ambitious yearly fundraising goals. The Donor Engagement Coordinator works on a variety of activities including donor stewardship, corporate sponsorship, and event planning. Responsibilities
- Maintain and, as needed, grow the stewardship program for monthly and mid-level donors
- With the Development Manager, plan and execute donor events including coordinating the event vendors, invitations, budget, promotional materials, and post-event evaluation
- As needed, attend community events on behalf of the agency to strengthen and maintain strong donor relationships (occasionally on evenings or weekends)
- Contribute to creating the annual fundraising plan and following through on its successful completion
- Assist in developing and managing a corporate giving program
- Support upkeep of all communications, fundraising, and events calendars
- Create and write content highlighting the impact of donor funding
- Oversee employee giving including matching gifts and payroll deductions
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm to work in a dynamic environment and interact with a diverse group of people helping engage them in the mission
- Excellent written communication skills and comfort with public speaking
- Organized, attentive to detail, and able to balance multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Highly professional with demonstrated customer service excellence
- Past fundraising experience and familiarity with moves management is a plus
Requirements
- Proficient in the Google suite of products and with contemporary web usage
- Reliable transportation and ability to attend events at various locations
- Satisfactory background check results. Please note: not all findings are disqualifying for all positions.
- Ability to learn new software skills as needed to complete job responsibilities

- Starting rate of $20.00-$22.00/hour depending on experience
