MeHAF reopens Discretionary Grant program

Tuesday, September 15, 2020

The Maine Health Access Foundation (MeHAF) has announced that their temporarily suspended Discretionary Grants program is accepting new applications as of September 15, 2020.

After initially closing the program in mid-April to focus attention and funding primarily on a rapid response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation is pleased to be re-opening it to applicants seeking funding for non-COVID-19 related projects.

Although MeHAF will not be funding COVID-19 related work through the Discretionary Grants program, they will continue to monitor the pandemic in Maine and related needs. Please note that due to ongoing public health measures to keep everyone as safe as possible, and associated limitations on in-person gatherings, their Meeting Support program will remain closed through the remainder of 2020.

To learn more, review MeHAF's Frequently Asked Questions, and begin the application process for a Discretionary Grant. For further questions please contact Program Officer Andrea Francis.
