Eastern Area Agency on Aging is currently seeing a full-time experienced Grants Manager. This position is responsible for securing financial resources through grants to support the organization’s programs and services and enhance its mission and vision. In addition to grant writing, the manager plans and implements grant programs, prepares budgets, researches funding opportunities, monitors expenditure, identifies support agencies, tracks results, and analyzes financial data.
The successful candidate must have exceptional communication skills (speaking, reading, writing, active listening, presentation, etc.) as well as effective analytical, financial and budgetary skills, including proficiency with spreadsheet software. Candidate must have the ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines.
- Three to five years of successful grant writing experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Business, Communications, Marketing, or Social Services field preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- Must be able to pass background and driver’s background checks.
