Catholic Charities empowers and strengthen individuals and families of all faiths by providing innovative community-based social services throughout Maine.

To raise early aspirations for continued education and a brighter future. We do this by providing 1) early information, 2) early inspiration, 3) early community celebration, and 4) an emphasis on the value of effort. We do this to help build a brighter future for the children and the communities of rural Maine.

The Mission of the Maine Volunteer Lake Monitoring Program is to support stewardship of Maine lakes through widespread citizen participation in the gathering and dissemination of credible scientific information pertaining to lake health. The VLMP trains, certifies and provides technical support to hundreds of volunteers who monitor a wide range of indicators of water quality, assess watershed health and function, and screen lakes for invasive aquatic plants and animals. In addition to being the primary source of lake data in the State of Maine, VLMP volunteers benefit their local lakes by playing key stewardship and leadership roles in their communities.

Norlands Living History Museum, Farm & Archive is located in Livermore, Maine. Our mission is to preserve the heritage and traditions of 19th century rural Maine life, using living history methods to make the values, activities, and issues of the past relevant to present and future generations and to celebrate the achievements of Livermore's Washburn family.

The Opportunity Alliance works with people to build better lives and stronger communities. We provide advocacy, leadership and support to identify the goals and address the needs of individuals, families and communities.

The Southern Maine Conservation Collaborative accelerates conservation work in Southern Maine by providing technical and administrative support, and expanding meaningful partnerships.
