Land for Southport’s Future (LFSF) is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit established to create a sustainable fund to buy and preserve land and resources on Southport Island for use by the entire community and to give the people an ongoing voice in the future of this island. Our immediate goal is to purchase the former home and adjacent land of cartographer and artist Ruth Lepper Gardner, as a center for community engagement and a space to host educational opportunities, and to assure a forever access to the nearby shoreline.

Mission: 
The Liberation Institute is dedicated to providing educational, wellness, and recovery services to under-served populations throughout the Northeastern United States and beyond. Our charitable mission is to offer a broad array of classes and trainings to the incarcerated, recently released, and greater public. Utilizing a socially beneficial and responsible non-profit model we strive to better serve marginalized populations. Towards that end we use four complimentary modalities in the treatment of addiction. We also offer three courses and two trainings for credit.
