Calendar of Programs
Through MPC’s programs and events, MPC funder, nonprofit, and consultant/advisor members come together to explore shared interests, learn from one another, and hear from local, regional, and national experts. Roundtables for corporate funders and family philanthropists are designed by members to address the specific needs and interests of those funders. Among the events bringing Maine Philanthropy Center's funder and nonprofit members together are MPC's Let's Talk About... programs and the biennial Philanthropy Partners Conference.
MPC seeks to create a community of shared inquiry characterized by mutual respect and trust. While networking is encouraged, we ask all participants to refrain from soliciting funds at MPC meetings and events.
The Maine Philanthropy Center’s spring symposium is a cross-sector summit that brings representatives from the philanthropy, nonprofit, corporate, and government sectors together for conversation around how they and their organizations might work together to advance the common good.Read more
