Presented by PEAK Grantmaking

From March 21–25, we’re bringing our community together for a virtual conference centering on what it looks like to “live your PEAK.” Across the week, we’ll imagine how grantmaking can truly embody what PEAK stands for: Principles, Equity, Advocacy, and Knowledge. Taking inspiration from thought-provoking keynotes, interactive peer dialogues, skill-building breakouts, and community gatherings, the PEAK2022 experience will leave you empowered to lead change in your organization and the sector at large.

A Sneak Peek at the Program

Our daily core programming runs from 12:00–5:00 p.m. ET, with some morning and early evening meetings and social events. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing more details of what’s planned, including our mid-conference and closing keynotes, and a full slate of breakout programming. Here’s an overview of the PEAK2022 Online schedule. Be sure to revisit the event page in the coming weeks for new program announcements!

Three keynotes feature dynamic speakers in conversations on operationalizing equity, advocating for psychological safety, and emergent learning in the philanthropic sector.

A series of breakouts take deeper dives into practice areas through panel and workshop sessions, roundtables, and short talks. These programs highlight key topics such as trust-based philanthropy, launching a values-based grants management system, grantmaking as a 501(c)(4), centering people with disabilities in your practices, and the burden of indirect cost limits on grantees.

Each of PEAK’s chapters and peer groups will convene, so be sure to find your regional community and join meetings of our caucuses, affinity groups, or communities of practice.

Through daily social and networking events, you can connect with colleagues at our opening reception, newcomers’ orientation, speed networking sessions, social hour, and volunteer reception, and join in a virtual field trip.

Plus, we’ve got NOLA Time! Throughout the week, we’re creating spaces for a special series of short, inspiring presentations that highlight New Orleans nonprofits and culture through music, dance, film, and spoken-word performances.
