Presented by the Resource Organizing Project
We’re socialized under capitalism that talking about money is rude or shameful – a cultural norm that quashes collective economic action and further entrenches wealth inequality. But when we’re building movements for justice, inviting our friends to help grow those movements with their time AND money can be liberating.
Join movement fundraisers Kathy Asuncion and Kelly Baker to develop and practice fundraising skills that align with our movement values. This workshop is open to anyone in the Resource Organizing Project network, and will focus on training volunteers, staff, and board in “making the ask” whether they’re experienced or brand new to fundraising.
