Please join us for this pre-recorded event. The speakers will join for a live Q&A following the session.

One in four U.S. adults (61 million Americans) and an estimated 1 billion individuals worldwide experience a disability that impacts major life activities; however, disability is often left out of diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. The experience of disability occurs within all communities whether based on gender identity, race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, age, family status, religious affiliation, class and/or veteran status. As DEI efforts are undertaken, how can we ensure disability is included? Learn why accessible DEI matters.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand why a disability lens matters in philanthropy.
  • Reiterate a few ways you can begin to shift your foundation’s mindset toward initiatives in inclusivity.
  • Share 2-3 examples of current philanthropic efforts that include disability in their DEI journey.

A recording of the full program, including the live Q&A, will be provided to those who register.
