The Maine Philanthropy Center periodically sponsors Meet the Funders programs to bring together grantmakers with nonprofit organizations for a learning and networking opportunity. It is our belief that fostering this type of dialogue among funders and nonprofit organizations helps strengthen the impact of philanthropy in Maine and can lead to better outcomes.

On February 4, MPC will convene a panel of representatives of Maine grantmakers to discuss their current priorities and program interests particularly in mid to northern Maine.

This is your opportunity to learn more about how these grantmakers are engaging with nonprofit organizations to address important issues affecting Maine communities. Bangor Savings Bank has graciously agreed to host this event.

Panelists

The panel will include the following presenters:

  • Carol Colson, Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing & Community Relations, Bangor Savings Bank
  • Laura Reed, Foundation Officer, Maine Community Foundation
  • Len Bartel, Program Officer II, Maine Health Access Foundation

Other funders will be present in the audience as well.

Please join us and make connections that could benefit your program or organization! The event will be held at the Clifton Eames Learning Center in Bangor. Lunch will be provided.
