Cancellations & Refunds
The Maine Philanthropy Center reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any program (including workshops and events), for which registrants will receive a full refund.
If you cannot attend a program, contact our office at mpc@mainephilanthropy or (207) 780-5029 to request a cancellation. We will offer a full refund for cancellations made at least two weeks prior to a program. Refunds for cancellations received within two weeks of a program will be made at the discretion of MPC and may include a service charge of $10. No refunds will be made for no-shows.
The MPC also reserves the right to modify its cancellation policies as necessary: any such changes will be clearly stated on registration materials for the programs to which they apply.
Winter weather in Maine can be unpredictable! We don’t want anyone traveling to our programs in dangerous conditions. If we need to cancel or reschedule an event because of weather, we will do our best to contact attendees as far as possible in advance. We will also post a notice on the event page on our website. Please contact us directly at mpc@mainephilanthropy if you were unable to attend an event due to dangerous travel conditions.
