The Maine Philanthropy Center  holds one of the state’s largest reference libraries for grantseekers, as well as maintains a network of affiliated libraries across the state.   The MPC Library is one of 220 Cooperating Collections of The Foundation Center, an independent national service that is the authoritative source of information on foundation and corporate giving.  MPC offers library and online resources for both grantmakers and nonprofit organizations.

Nonprofit organizations and those seeking grants utilize Maine Philanthropy Center to identify potential sources of grants matching their programmatic, geographic, and population focus and research local and national foundations, corporate giving programs, and community funders.

The Maine Philanthropy Center offers grant seekers educational programs, a lending library, the Directory of Maine Grantmakers and access to online resources such as FC Search, (which is a directory of over 75,000 foundations).
