Programs & Events

Quote Stephanie Leonard

Through MPC’s programs and events. Grantmaker members come together to explore shared interests and learn from one another, as well as local, regional and national experts.  Roundtables for corporate funders and family philanthropists are designed by members to address the specific needs and interests of those funders.

MPC also holds grantwriting and foundation research classes to help nonprofits become better grantseekers and seminars for professional advisors on legal, accounting and public policy developments that impact philanthropy.

Among the offers which bring grantmakers and grantseekers together are:

  • Meet the Funders programs, held across the state
  • The Philanthropy Partners Conference, which is held biennially
  • MPC’s Annual Meeting

MPC seeks to create a community of shared inquiry characterized by mutual respect and trust.  While networking is encouraged, we ask all participants to refrain from soliciting funds at MPC meetings.
