Through MPC’s programs and events. Grantmaker members come together to explore shared interests and learn from one another, as well as local, regional and national experts.
Among the events bringing grantmakers and grantseekers together are MPC's Annual Meeting and the biennial Philanthropy Partners Conference.
Roundtables for corporate funders and family philanthropists are designed by members to address the specific needs and interests of those funders. MPC also holds grantwriting and foundation research classes to help nonprofits become better grantseekers and seminars for professional advisors on legal, accounting and public policy developments that impact philanthropy. MPC seeks to create a community of shared inquiry characterized by mutual respect and trust. While networking is encouraged, we ask all participants to refrain from soliciting funds at MPC meetings and events.
