MPC Common Grant Application

Every grantmaker has different guidelines, priorities and deadlines but all are interested in receiving proposals that articulate how an applicant’s requested funds will be used.

The MPC Common Grant Application (CGA) was developed by MPC grantmaker members to enhance the overall quality of proposals they receive and to create greater efficiencies for grantseekers. 

Below are links to the Instructions, the Common Request Form and formats for Applications A and B.  Both formats A and B have similar components but the level of detail within the proposal narrative varies depending upon the dollar amount of the request. 

Beginning July 1, 2006, MPC is pleased to announce the availability of the CGA and is currently inviting grantmakers to begin accepting it.  Please revisit this page as we update the list of grantmakers accepting the CGA.

The following grantmakers accept the Common Grant Application.  Before sending a request to any of the grantmakers listed below, review their guidelines and requirements as some may require additional materials.
