The Environmental Funders Network is a joint project of the Maine Community Foundation and the Maine Philanthropy Center. The Network provides opportunities for education and sharing of information, encourages networking, and in the future hopes to identify opportunities for individual or joint funding of initiatives. The steering committee, comprised of MCF donor advisors and members of MPC, is committed to creating a funder network that will find value in learning from nonprofits and other funders about how to address the most pressing issues facing Maine's environment.  The network is nonpartisan and often plays the role of a neutral convener.
