MeHAF Systems Improvement and Innovation Responsive Grants Program application process now open

Wednesday, November 9, 2022

MeHAF is pleased to announce the application process for the 2023 Systems Improvement and Innovation Responsive Grants (SIIRG) program is now open. The SIIRG program provides opportunities for either one-year planning grants up to $30,000 or implementation grants of up to $50,000 per year for one or two years.

The purpose of the SIIRG program is to fund organizations that wish to improve health and access to care in one or more of four strategic priority areas identified by MeHAF: rural health, aging/older adults, behavioral health, and maternal and child health. The focus of SIIRG is creating change that is responsive to community identified health needs at the system and organizational levels, with a major emphasis on ensuring that the community of focus has a meaningful and ongoing voice in shaping improvements and innovations that address the barriers to health equity they face.

MeHAF experience suggests that the most successful projects with the longest staying power after grant funding ends are those tailored to be responsive to community and cultural needs, focused on efforts to reduce inequities, and designed to leverage local resources, talents, and opportunities.

Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) are due by Tuesday, December 13th at 4:00 p.m.
