Betsy Biemann, president of the Maine Technology Institute, will moderate this conversation. Peter Arnold, Chewonki Foundation’s sustainability coordinator, will share a vision for what Maine could accomplish in 10-20 years. His comments will be inspired by his recent visit to the carbon neutral Danish Island of Samso. Beth Nagusky, the DEP director of innovation and technical assistance, will provide an overview of current legislation and the status of Maine’s efforts to promote sustainable energy solutions.
